Suzanne Taylor

Suzanne Taylor, PhD, Vice President, AI Portfolio, oversees the Unisys portfolio of AI-led internal and client initiatives. She is part of the cross-functional team which created and manages the responsible AI guidelines for the company. In her prior role, she pioneered a global innovation practice at Unisys connecting technical and industry business experts to create differentiation in the market. Her experiences include analytical and business roles in consultative and product service delivery, lean six sigma, R&D, and leading strategic initiatives in product service delivery excellence, portfolio and investment management, and enterprise-wide content management. 
 
Earlier in her career she worked on mobility and speech recognition projects, with a focus on human factors and spoken interface design and led R&D efforts in the areas of natural language processing, image processing, and technology for education. She has been an adjunct professor, published author and patent inventor. 
 
Suzanne earned a Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and her B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Virginia.

In technology, where the trend is sometimes called “the democratization of tech” or “no-code/low-code,” its benefits are great, but its risks must be recognized and mitigated.
